All rides begin and end at Alta Sierra Middle School in Clovis, CA. The Climb To Kaiser has a mass start at 5:30 a.m. Riders needing more time to finish the course may start at 4:30 a.m. but will not receive an official time. They will be listed as finishers. The Tollhouse Century and the Millerton Metric start at 6 a.m. All three routes will head east out of Clovis to the foothills of the Sierra’s. You will encounter your first climb of the day on WILDCAT GRADE.

After a good warm-up on this climb you will have a chance to recover at the Wildcat Rest Stop and then it’s time to descend down towards Burrough Valley.

Terrain: Flat until the rolling hills before Wildcat Grade. Wildcat is about 3.5 miles long, the steepest section being the last mile with grades up to 15%.
Traffic: Light

Caution: Fast pace lines across the flats, bumpy road on Watts Valley due to recent shoulder work, VERY narrow road on Watts Valley Wildcat grade – STAY to the right, STAY single file.
